Partnering With Delaware Area Career Center

With April being National Volunteer Month, Capri Gardens would like to put a spotlight on the Delaware Area Career Center kids. Partnering with the Delaware Area Career Center and their Hospitality Program provides a place that allows kids with special needs to learn, grow, and work together as a team by doing daily living activities.

These kids have been helping around the facility in every aspect to give our residents a better quality of life. You may see them delivering laundry, mopping and sweeping floors, pouring juice, and even handing out chronicles every morning. Not only are their efforts giving our residents a better quality of life but it is benefitting the kids as well. This hospitality program helps these kids work real jobs and gives them a chance to interact with employees, manage their time and work together to bring smiles to many residents' faces.
